A domain is a very critical element in SEO. SEO beginners have a temptation to choose the exact match domain name. For example, if a blog niche is SEO Tools the SEO newbies go to www.seotools.com. By default may be the blogger is in a comfort zone to select the domain name that exactly matches with the keyword of a blog and assume his / her blog rank higher in search engines with the Exact Match Domain (EMD).

But I would like to remind you here, back in 2012, search engines noticed that a log of websites/blogs were struggling to improve their SEO by selecting the EMD (Exact Match Domain) name with their keyword. No quality content, no back linking’s, just a raw SEO booster. After analyzing search engines like Google dropped like an atom bomb in shape of EMD (Exact Match Domain) update. The easiest and safest way to cater this issue is to select a domain name which is your Brand Name. It will help you complete with your site links structure.
